Laikon Delicatessen has been part of the Bridge Road action since 1976. Since then, we have grown from being a family run deli, to a café and catering business. We serve to provide our customers with the best hand-picked products, delivered with exceptional service that we stand behind in terms of their quality, taste and ingredients.

We love good food and we believe in taking the time to enjoy it with friends, family and great music. We love what we do, and it excites us that a large part of our job is to introduce people to independent producers and their quality products.

Drop in for a visit, and take the time to enjoy our home-made food, or pick up ingredients for the perfect meal at home. Ask our staff for recommendations, we have trialled many dishes and we’re more than happy to share our recipes with our customers!

READY TO EAT MEALS

We have a huge selection of take home meals ready to be enjoyed at home. Grab a family pie or lasagne on your way through or maybe some fresh pasta with Italian pasta sauce like Nonna makes. We stock original wood fired pizza bases with freshly cut Italian prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella and many more rotating seasonal meals. Whatever you choose, you are sure to impress!

CHEESE

For more than 40 years we have been developing close ties with specialty cheese providers both local and international. Our range is always changing displaying the finest example of various cheeses throughout all the regions of the world. Whether it be soft, hard, goat’s or washed rind, we have you covered.

ANTIPASTO

Our antipasto section is fully stocked for all your special occasion platter needs or just to keep the staples in your fridge stocked up and ready to go. All our olives are marinated in house and dips freshly made.

CURED MEATS

Whether it be Italian prosciutto, hand cut Australian ham off the bone or homemade Italian salami, everything is cut fresh to order. Grab a selection for your next salumi board or pizza night. Not so sure what to order? Our staff are here to help with recommendations and taste tests.
